About Cross Keys High School
Cross Keys High School opened in 1958 and is located in Brookhaven, a community located on the western edge of DeKalb County, Georgia, directly northeast of Atlanta. The school serves students from the Doraville and Chamblee areas of the DeKalb County School System. The student body is composed of 80% Hispanic, 11% Black, 6% Asian, 1%, White, and less than 1% other racial groups, including 2 or more races. The total composition of the student population excluding White not of Hispanic Origin is 98.59%.
Cross Keys was selected as Georgia School of Excellence in 1996 as a result of our unique student diversity and creative academic program. In the 2012-2013 school year, the Georgia Department of Education recognized Cross Keys as a Reward School. In 2012, U.S. News and World Report recognized Cross Keys as the 26th Best High School in Georgia.
About the Pink Frog Foundation
The Pink Frog Foundation, Inc. is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to breast cancer patients. In addition, the organization strives to provide emotional, social and educational programming and increasing public awareness about the special needs and issues facing individuals with breast cancer. We make this happen with financial commitments through sponsorships, fundraising, donations and pledge drives.
