The Sadie Grice Funny Scholarship Foundation celebrates her zest for life, commemorates her value of education, and immortalizes her contribution to the community for the success of future generations. Through academic funding, The Sadie Grice Funny Scholarship Foundation provides a financial resource to further eligible students’ pursuit of their educational objectives. Since its establishment 18 years ago, the Sadie Grice Funny Scholarship Foundation has bestowed more than $250,000 in scholarships to promising students. Students receiving the SGFSF scholarship in previous years have been accepted for enrollment or completed studies in some of the best institutions of higher education in the country including:

           - Clayton State University - Atlanta (Clayton County), Georgia

           - Clemson University - Clemson, South Carolina

           - Furman University – Greenville, South Carolina

           - Hampton University – Hampton, Virginia

           - South Carolina State University - Orangeburg, South Carolina

           - University of South Carolina - Columbia, South Carolina

           - Meharry Medical College – Nashville, Tennessee

           - Tulane College – New Orleans, Louisiana

            - Benedict College – Columbia, South Carolina
